Aluminum titanate
Spruebush is located between the lift tube and the lower mold to form a low-pressure runner. In the pouring process, it can make the alloy liquid fill the mold smoothly and remove the inclusions in the alloy liquid, which is conducive to the exhaust of the mold. The spruebush ensures that no secondary oxidation slag inclusion occurs in the medium chamber during the whole die casting process.
During low-pressure die casting, the aluminum liquid in the holding furnace of die casting machine enters the mold chamber from the lift tube through the sprue cup and spruebush under pressure, then becoming sequentially solidified by the cooling system under pressure. Thus, the sprue part plays the role of die casting head.
In the low-pressure die casting process of aluminum alloy wheel hub, the sprue system is particularly important. It can make the mold chamber smoothly filled with molten aluminum. It will also play a feeding role in the solidification stage of product green body to obtain a die casting product with dense internal structure. Locating at the junction of sprue system and molding system, the spruebush is a core part of the aluminum alloy wheel hub die casting system. It can be called the throat of the die casting system. Its structure design and material selection play an important role in the filling and solidification of product profile.
Comparing with ceramic spruebush, the traditional metal spruebush has problems such as fast corrosion, fast heat conduction, difficult adjustment of die casting process, large fluctuations and so on in low-pressure die casting process. Especially, the traditional one is greatly affected by the environment and raw material temperature in low-pressure die casting process.
Aluminum titanate ceramic spruebush has strong corrosion resistance, non adhesion to aluminum, better thermal insulation and high temperature resistance. It effectively ensures the temperature of the feeding channel. In this way, it makes the die casting feeding unaffected when the cooling intensity of other die casting parts is significantly increased. Meanwhile, the production efficiency and quality of die castings have been significantly improved. The weight of waste at the final solidified lift tube is only half of that of traditional one.
Aluminum titanate is a mixture of aluminum oxide and titanium dioxide in a certain chemical proportion. Its structure belongs to the orthorhombic crystal system.

Lift tube
Aluminum titanate is a mixture of alumina and titanium dioxide in a certain chemical proportion. Its structure belongs to the orthorhombic system.
Aluminum titanate ceramics have high melting point (1860 ℃ ± 10 ℃) and low coefficient of thermal expansion (at rt-1000 ℃, α< two × 10-6 / ℃), as well as excellent thermal shock resistance. In addition, it has the characteristics of non wetting with many metal melts and glass melts, especial for non-ferrous metals. Thus, aluminum titanate ceramics can be widely used in harsh environments, such as high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, corrosion resistance, and so on.
Low-pressure die casting lift tube is one of the key components of low-pressure die casting machine. During the die casting process, the aluminum melt with temperature of 700 ℃ ~ 900 ℃ is pressed into the mold chamber from the lift tube every 3 ~ 5 minutes. In the traditional production process, steel liquid lift tube is used. Due to its poor thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance, its short service life and frequent replacement can not meet the requirements of continuous and high-quality production. Aluminum titanate is an ideal material for liquid lift tube due to its low coefficient of thermal expansion, excellent thermal shock resistance, non-stick aluminum and so on. Aluminum silicate sprue cup

Aluminum silicate sprue cup is a funnel-shaped external sprue. It can be separately or directly formed in the mold, which will become an enlarged part of the sprue top. Its function is to receive the molten metal from casting ladle in order to prevent splashing and overflow, which is positive to facilitate pouring. In addition, it can also reduce the direct impact of molten metal on the mold. It can also skim off part of the slag and impurities and prevent them from entering the sprue, as well as increasing the hydrostatic pressure of metal.
Aluminum silicate filter tank

Application method
- 1.Clean the filter tank
2.Gently put the filter plate into the filter box, and press the sealing gasket around the filter plate by hand to prevent the aluminum liquid from flowing by side.
3.Uniformly preheat the filter tank and filter plate to make them close to the temperature of molten aluminum. Preheat to remove moisture, which can facilitate initial instantaneous filtration. Electric or gas heating can be adopted to make preheating. Under normal circumstances, it takes about 15-30 minutes.
4.During casting, please pay attention to the change of aluminum hydraulic head. The normal starting pressure is 100-150mm. When the molten aluminum starts to pass, the pressure head will drop below 75-100mm. Subsequently, the pressure head will gradually increase.
5.During normal filtering, please avoid knocking or vibrating the filter plate. At the same time, the launder shall be filled with molten aluminum to avoid excessive disturbance of molten aluminum.
6.After filtration, please take out the filter plate and clean the filter tank.The standard forming size can provide reliable support for effectively realizing the filtration efficiency of foam ceramic filter plate. In addition to the general specifications, it can be designed and produced according to the clients’ needs.
Aluminum silicate chute

Aluminum silicate chute is a kind of excellent high temperature resistant guide chute lining in the process of conveying aluminum and aluminum alloy melt, which can directly contact with the melt. It has excellent thermal insulation performance, thermal shock resistance, and compressive strength. It also can withstand long-term scouring of aluminum melt with collapse. Meanwhile, it is not easy to peel off in application.
Aluminum silicate chute minimizes the secondary pollution of aluminum melt during the conveying process of the guide chute. In this way, its service life is relatively long.
