With the rapid development of regenerative industrial furnace, the research and production of thermal mass in regenerative heating furnace has also reached a certain scale. Currently, the different manufactures have adopted different production techniques. There is limited experience in producing regenerative ball at present market, which has caused passive situation. Then, the users have to replace the regenerative ball in short time duration.
In consideration of various factors in the production and application of regenerative ball, KSINO has developed the special high aluminum regenerative ball for regenerative heating furnaces in steel plant. It has advantages of high strength, excellent wear resistance, high thermal conductivity & heat capacity, high thermal efficiency, and excellent thermal stability. The special high aluminum regenerative ball can be reused. In the application, it will be not easy to break.

Mullite Regenerator balls specially used in aluminum plants
Mullite regenerator balls specially used in aluminum plants are made of mullite and other materials with more stable heating stability based on the development of high aluminum regenerative ball. It makes stronger thermal shock stability and resistance to extreme cold and extreme heat of regenerator balls in the heat storage box during the continuous commutation of cold and hot gases. Its performance is better than that of ordinary high aluminum regenerator balls.

Ceramic honeycomb is mainly used for heat storage in heating furnaces of steel mills and smelting furnaces of aluminum industry. It has the characteristics of fast heat transfer, large heat storage, good thermal conductivity and so on.
High Temperature Air Combustion (HTAC) adopts ceramic honeycomb regenerator. Honeycomb ceramic regenerator is adopted to expand the flame combustion area by organizing oxygen poor combustion. The flame boundary almost extends to the furnace boundary, which makes the temperature in the furnace evenly distributed. In this situation, the emission of NOx in the flue gas can be reduced by more than 40%. The increase of the average temperature in the furnace strengthens the heat transfer in the furnace. Compared with the same sized thermal equipment, its output can be increased by more than 20%, while the equipment cost is decreased. With the help of high-temperature preheated air or high-temperature preheated gas, low calorific value fuel can achieve higher furnace temperature. This expands the application range of low calorific value fuels.
