SSiC rollers are widely used in high temperature roller hearth kilns as transfer rollers in extreme kiln environments.
Industry applied
In the sintering kiln of technical ceramics, DPF, lithium battery positive and negative electrode materials, electronic ceramic powder, sanitary ware, daily ceramics, magnetic materials, refractories and other materials.
Production standard of silicon carbide rollers
►The minimum standard of rollers straightness is ≤0.8‰. Before leaving the factory, each rollers shall be tested for straightness by laser, and the test data of each rollers will be provided to the customer.
►Each roll shall pass the 70Mpa standard bending strength test machine to ensure the reliability of each roll.
Features and advantages
1. SSiC silicon carbide roller can provide technically superior and cost-effective solutions in high-temperature kiln applications. Compared with traditional reaction sintered silicon carbide (SiSiC), recrystallized silicon carbide (R-SiC) and nitride bonded silicon carbide (N-SiC), they can withstand higher loads at higher temperatures for longer periods of time, thus increasing the productivity of unit furnaces.
2. The excellent chemical corrosion resistance of SSiC silicon carbide rollers enables it to work for a long time in strong corrosive atmosphere and ionic environment, with a longer service life.
3. The excellent oxidation resistance of SSiC silicon carbide rollers enables it to have a longer service life in a long-term stable working environment under oxidation atmosphere.
4. In order to reduce the using cost, in some kiln’s environments, users can only select SSiC silicon carbide rollers in the high temperature area, or reduce the OD size of the rollers to reduce the cost. The SiSiC rollers or heat-resistant alloy rollers of the same size can be used in the low temperature area.
5. SSiC can also be used for the production of some simple structured special-shaped products.
