KSINO provides the zirconium nozzle for rapid replacement of tundish which belongs to China's National Key New Product. The high zirconium nozzle is embedded as the main component of the system.

The quick water exchange nozzle system is composed of upper water inlet and lower water outlet components, which has excellent erosion resistant performance, strong thermal stability and long continuous casting. When the upper nozzle is used to cast alloy steel series, it can be continuously poured for more than 40 hours at a time, and the lower nozzle can be poured for more than 12 hours. When the upper nozzle is used to cast plain carbon steel, it can be poured continuously for more than 50 hours. The water outlet can last more than 15 hours. It can meet the requirements of high efficiency continuous casting.

Product application

The product is mainly used for continuous casting tundish.

The tundish nozzle is made of high-quality raw materials, granulated and dried, then hydraulically formed, and fired at high temperature to produce products with reliable appearance and quality. This product is mainly used in continuous casting tundish of steel plant. However, in the process of using the tundish nozzle, if there is blockage, the main reason is that the cold steel blockage occurs when the pouring temperature is low. It is caused by non-metallic inclusions with high melting point. 

The prevention methods

1) Argon blowing for centering and packing rod core;

2) Adopting fully enclosed protective casting;

3) Ejecting sica powder or feeding Ca wire;

4) Using filter to remove A2O3 in tundish;

5) Selecting appropriate nozzle material;
